Human Response is the electronica side of Jan Hanford.
She is a classically trained musician but is as passionate about electronica and its various subgenres as she is about J.S. Bach.
She creates electronic music with layers of melodic and rhythmic interaction. Sampling her vintage one-note-at-a-time Minimoog Model D allows it to become polyphonic, making chords of analog filter sweeps and multi-voiced melody lines possible.
We think she may be more than "just friends" with her Minimoog but we don't want to pry.
